Merrimack Historical Society Presents: Preserving the Past with Programming In-Person
"In Program #2 of 3, meet with Jennifer Rocheleau and Susan Fineman on the subject of Country Schools. Learn about Merrimack’s District #12 Schoolhouse and how plans are in the works to create a program for 4th graders in our town. Repairs, restoration, and plans for programming are underway and will continue in the months ahead. Learn what civic groups are doing across the country to preserve their remaining historic one-room schools and how many New Hampshire communities are preserving their own. You may wish to join the Merrimack Historical Society in their mission to share their headquarters on Depot Street (District #3 Schoolhouse) with townspeople and to restore District #12 on Boston Post Road as a museum school. This is a video presentation and discussion."
